Rae Johnson is a Colorado-Native filmmaker. She graduated with a BFA at the University of Colorado Denver in 2021 and, since then, has been working on small independent projects. The exploration of everyday human challenges inspires her films. By taking inspiration from strangers on the Light rail to her closest friends and family, she produces content that highlights a greater meaning in the small day-to-day lives of seemingly ordinary people. Her work has been screened at the Denver Film Festival, the Amsterdam World International Film Festival, the Black Femme Supremacy Film Fest, and many more.
